ARAMEA FINE FOODS OF THE LEVANT
Muscat · Sultanate of Oman

The pantry of an Aramean kitchen

A trading house in Muscat for the staples of the Levantine table. We buy at origin, hold stock in the condition it actually needs, and supply the businesses that sell it on — coffee, nuts, spices, sweets, dairy and dry goods.

The house

Named for the land the recipes came from

Aram was the old name for Syria, and Aramaic the language the region traded in long before anyone drew the borders it trades across today.

The recipes are Levantine — coffee ground with cardamom, spice blends measured by hand long before anyone wrote them down, halva made the way it is made in Aleppo. The goods themselves we buy wherever the quality is right, from the Levant, Turkey and further afield, and we say so on the label.

Trade is the business. A small roastery of our own lets us roast and season nuts in short batches rather than buy finished goods, and a single shop in Muscat tells us what actually sells before we commit to the next container. Both exist to sharpen the trade, not to replace it.

The shelf

Each family carries its own colour through the packaging, the shelf edge and the signage — and its own storage requirement in our warehouse.

What we do

One core business, three capabilities around it

Four parts, one of them the actual business.

The core
I

Trading & distribution

Buying at origin, importing, and delivering to wholesalers, retailers, hotels, cafés and caterers with our own fleet.

II

Warehousing

A large facility with separate temperature zones, so every category is held in the condition it needs.

III

Nut roastery

A small plant of our own. Short runs, our own recipes, and the basis for private-label work.

IV

Retail, Muscat

One shop, serving households and bulk buyers, and giving us a direct read on what moves.

The warehouse

In this climate, storage is the product

Halva softens. Nuts turn. Dates dry out. Coffee goes flat. Cheese has no patience at all. Most losses in this trade happen between the container and the shelf — our facility is built so they don't, and our own vehicles carry the goods the last stretch.

Ambient

Air-conditioned

For buyers

Private label across every family

We source, roast where relevant, and pack under your brand — from first sample to repeat order. Mixed orders are held in the right zone until dispatch, so a pallet of cheese and a pallet of coffee leave in the same condition they arrived.

Our shop

One floor in Muscat, for households and bulk alike

The shop is a business in its own right and a working instrument. It is where we see which blends move and which pack sizes sell — before we commit to the next container.
